Presentation of Japanese Sweets : Sunagawa City, Hokkaido
Did you know the famous Japanese sweet shop Hori from Sunagawa City? They have produced some popular souvenirs of Japanese western style sweet which use abundant local ingredients of Hokkaido: Yubari Melon, Indian millet (Toukibi) and potato.
“Toukibi (Indian millet) chocolate ”
One of the excellent sweets made by Hori from Sunagawa City, Hokkaido. It won a gold medal at Monde Selection. A square pole cookie with Indian millet wrapped in white chocolate. The corn and white chocolate are superb.

“Yubari Melon Pure Jelly”
This luxurious confectionery uses natural water and Yubari melon fruits from Hokkaido. It is made with a low temperature pasteurization manufacturing method, you can taste the texture of fresh delicious melon.

Many farmers in Hokkaido grow potatoes. These okashi confectioneries used high quality potatoes from Hokkaido and made fragrant taste Okaki( kaki-mochi). There are 5 kinds tastes: garlic taste, saltiness, wasabi taste, red pepper taste and cheese taste.
